Five Women. Five Paths. One Explosive Encounter.
The Godhand Women’s Home houses two hundred of South Florida’s most desperate young women, and what begins as Leila Sudders’ refuge from her turbulent past quickly becomes a distorted mirror of her own darkness, so she does what she does best as she awaits her child’s birth: close up.
Five women with five different life stories converge through the unlikley influence of one.
But despite her waning efforts, her toughness carves a path of treacherous consequence that intensifies as her due date draws near, which erupts when she crosses four other desperate women suffering from borderline personality disorder, PTSD, and schizophrenia. One of the five, thirtysomething missionary counselor Diana, fights tooth and nail to offer the others the strength to overcome their demons.

"Well written and insightful!"
“I wanted to finish this book in 7 days. That didn’t happen. I finished it in 3 days!!! This book made me smile, frown, gasp, laugh, cry, and make the shocked face multiple times. The stories were deep and intriguing. This was indeed a page-turner!”
“Raw, in your face, powerful story lines that suck you in and take your breath away, with incredible moments of true suspense and jaw-dropping awe mixed in with centering self-reflection. A MUST-read! 5 stars!”
“First book in a long time that I couldn’t put down. Especially as a I am a male reading this book it was very realistic. The book was formatted in a way that I had to find out what happened next until I just ran out of pages. The language was real but not trashy so it did not turn me away being a christian. Definitely a book I can give to the teens that I see in my profession to inspire them to understand the decisions they make and to relate to some that have experienced any of the situations in this book.”
“Captivating from beginning to end! These authors thoughtfully put this book together, making the reader eager, yet anxious to turn to the next page. Took me a little longer than normal to finish reading a book of this quality due to new mommy duties and responsibilities. However, I must say this is a 1-2 day reader for those of you like me who just need to know how the story ends. No need to be a story spoiler and go into story details. Go grab your copy of this book before the sequel comes out. This book comes highly recommended. Great job & congratulations Camille, Stacey and Melissa!”
