My specialties includes: Supporting black communities affected by multi-generational trauma and PTSD, self-esteem building, career-planning, goal setting, limit setting, anger- management, life transitions, anxiety, infertility counseling, women’s issues, marriage and couple counseling, single- parenting, and divorce coping skills.

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience in the social work field. I have worked with an array of populations ranging from prenatal to geriatrics from various racial backgrounds, ethnicity, cultures, religions and creed.  My experiences include medical social worker as I worked a various home health agencies, discharge planning, inpatient /outpatient therapist, field based clinical case manager, community based case manager, long term care case manager,both medical and non-medical case manager providing community resources for members.

My Qualifications

Education: LCSW, B.A. from Nova Southeastern University with a major in psychology
Masters in social work (MSW) from Barry University.

Experience: 17 Years In practice as a Clinician, medical social worker, medical case manager, counselor, speaker, outpatient therapist, Sociology adjunct professor at a local community college, Homeless outreach, with combined expertise in social services and community building.
